i’m finally reading “the end of men” by hanna rosin and so this is where i’ll thread my thoughts and snippets
(it’s always funny to me ppl can acknowledge the crumbling of these institutions unilaterally leads to advancement for women but refuse to acknowledge that keeping women crippled was exactly why those institutions existed and persisted in the first place)
you know all the hand-wringing about getting ppl “back in church” and how to “appeal to younger generations”? religious institutions are another one of those that we see floundering as women advance. i wonder why

one thing that is sticking out to me is the willingness to create specialized solutions for boys/men to address their weaknesses. can’t help but wonder where society would be by now if women had been afforded that for their strengths.
the amount of energy, money, time being invested in trying to drag men along when women have proven they perform better than men in not only “female” areas but the ones men are supposed to be better at too..lol... let them go...
