The stats from data usage are fed into the tool, which then picks up patterns and outputs potential targets. If we think carefully since the introduction of JIO communication in Kashmir, the successful operations against rebels have seen a drastic increase.
It begs the question, what has changed? Well, its the liaison, and collaboration, between service providers and security agencies. To put it in simple terms, Indian security agencies ask service providers to provide them with the data about all subscribers of a specific area.
