Massachusetts is finally crushing the covid curve, with measures of infections/deaths dropping 80-90% since the peak (which is far enough back that it doesn't appear in the graphic below).

If we can now just get testing-tracing-isolation fully operational, we can begin to return to a semblance of normality.
The reason we're crushing the curve is that there's been intense social distancing and extensive mask-wearing.

I already see on my walks some slippage in mask-wearing rates. Need to keep up the social pressure/norms.

Covid will re-emerge if we revert to prior behaviors.
Today the state (population ~7 milllion) reported 195 new coronavirus cases and 18 new deaths.

I wish those were zero, but they're a lot better than the infection's peak, shown below.
