In all seriousness folks, you would be flabbergasted at the number of sexualized looks and comments the women in your professional lives deal with on a daily basis. It’s so grindingly disheartening.

Just ... don’t.
I am now at a point in my career where I can push back without consequence. Has not always been the case (what’s up, deputy that followed me to my car in a dark parking lot to tell me he liked my legs).

At the very least, you feel like you’re not being taken seriously.
Yes this is a subtweet
- don’t flirt with, ogle or otherwise make sexual comments about people who are just trying to do their jobs

- this goes double for people who can’t leave or push back

- relatedly, no, the waitress isn’t going to comp you because she thinks you’re hot
- networking events are not an excuse to flirt with, ogle, or otherwise make comments about your professional colleagues

- if you wouldn’t say or do it to your subordinate, don’t do it to someone else’s

- if you are this guy, everyone knows and they are talking about you
