Finally got to the revamped Wynn Buffet. It’s an AYCE concept where servers bring the food to you. They even give you a coaster for your face mask. I’ll be reviewing my meals based on quantity. Yes. Quantity. It’s a buffet. Follow along on this thread. @KTNV
First up, the real crab California Roll. A step-up from the generic rolls. Good at establishing the palate. @KTNV
Next up is Alaskan snow crab legs with butter and cocktail sauce. It’s cold, fresh and of course delicious. @KTNV
Next up: the spicy tuna and shrimp tempura sushi roll. Has a nice kick of spice and overall a solid roll. @KTNV
Since it’s still brunch hour: a lobster eggs Benedict. The bearnaise sauce is *chef’s kiss*. Lobster has nice creamy consistency. @KTNV
As I wait for my other orders, I’ll say it’s a much slower pace than the normal buffets in terms of getting food. Probably a good thing allowing guests to really take on their food. As a notoriously gluttonous eater, I would probably have two to three full plates by now. @KTNV
The next dish: Shrimp siu mai. It tastes fine. Not a bad effort from a place that doesn’t specialize in dim sum. I reccommend places in LV #Chinatown for the best ones. @KTNV
Next up: Wagyu beef sliders with egg. It’s a solid slider. Love the runny yolk. Not a slider you find at White Castle. @KTNV
Double helping of shrimp: in ceviche and cocktail style. Both dishes were fine. A good break to cleanse the palate. @KTNV
Shoutout to the wonderful wait staff at the Wynn buffet. They have been courteous and attentive. Excellent service. @KTNV
The entree portion of the buffet for me: the seafood boil with Jonah crab claws. It’s very good! @KTNV
Finishing it off with some cookies and cream ice cream. Overall, I like the concept of the reimagined buffet at the Wynn. Would recommend again. Will have to see how other Strip buffet compare with this new reality. @KTNV
