Our vulnerable population:
1. Black, Hispanic, Native American, other racial/ethnic minorities
2. Elderly, disabled & homeless
3. Low household income
4. Non-English speaking
They are already hurting, but will hurt more with a deepening digital divide!

265 Black individuals die prematurely EVERYDAY (in US) due to health inequities from:
i) Structural racism: via long-standing policies baked into the system
ii) Point of care racism: Our everyday biases in prescribing drugs, refills, procedures, clinical trials, etc.

Lifespan amongst Black individuals is 10+ years lower on average due to inequalities stemming from Racism beyond the impact of socioeconomic status.

Chronic social /emotional vulnerability = chronic physiological stress = poor health outcomes

Improving HEALTH FOR ALL needs to be CORE mission.
High Tech, precision medicine means little, if ANY, continue to die for just basic needs.
Must use #Telemedicine to :
1. Increase ACCESS
2. Improve CARE QUALITY
3. EDUCATE and empower

1. A public-facing disparity dashboard
2. Aggressive pay-for-performance measures to address disparities
3. Build #telehealth strategies with community centers
4. Train clinicians to understand /empathize
5. Increase and promote Black MD's, APC's and RN's
