That’s why Black Capitalism isn’t the answer. Niggas will brow beat you into supporting black music and businesses only for them to get rich and everybody like “they don’t owe nobody nothing” or “stop telling ppl how to spend their money”
which is fine. Whatever. But then, why we do we have an obligation to make Black people rich as a collective only for them to not owe us shit? I don’t get it. It’s all for one when they need to get rich but it’s “leave me alone. Mind your business” when it’s time to redistribute.
And this really not even about meek. But about ALL black capitalists. What is the point of us all propelling individual black ppl forward if it’s not to REDISTRIBUTE THAT SHIT WHEN YOU GET THERE?! what is the point?
This is really why I’m teaching myself to stop getting frustrated that a lot of my family come to me for money and shit when they need it. What is the point of me working hard and making a better life for myself if not TO BRING MY NIGGAS WITH ME?! what is the point?!
How imma brag about being a first gen graduate and creating a comfortable life for myself with the same mouth I say some bullshit like “why niggas always begging?” The whole fucking point is to make money so that I have more to give. Period.
