We are no longer living in a country recognised for its human rights. The UK is firmly rolling back human rights, it is corrupt, prejudiced, and a dangerous place for lgbt people, disabled people and BAME people.
The first thing this government did, after coming out of EU human rights protections was to announce the rejection of trans people from social spaces. Before that, there was Grenfell, Windrush, the withdrawal of support for the disabled, who died in the thousands.
It will take an enormous effort to dig the UK out of the place it has found itself, brought about through engineered poverty, greed, xenophobia and a rise in fascism.

No doubt it will be the poorest who will pay the price, nhs nurses, women, and care workers.
We need radical change against state sponsored violence against the people of this country. No sectors, except the rich and powerful have been immune. The management of COVID has magnified the arrogant incompetence of the ruling classes.
We cannot continue to tolerate intolerance in our communities unless we are willing to face the consequences of living in a fascist state, and all the horrors and atrocities therein.

We are facing the biggest depression. When we need social security the most - it will be gone.
The rising tide of homelessness and poverty will be beyond that seen for generations. Food banks, already stretched, will fail to provide for the vulnerable.

House prices will fall, leaving people in negative equity. Unemployment will rise. There will be no eu support.
It won't be immigration that is a problem, it will be emigration, as people move out from an unstable country with famine and poverty commonplace. With no social security people will feel unsafe, and nothing to attract people to move here.
