I haven’t seen this episode yet however it’s really interesting what people are tweeting about it. Personally I don’t think the countryside is a “white environment” but as a person/artist of colour who works with nature, landscape and evironement there is a very real issue here https://twitter.com/bbccountryfile/status/1277277327639154688
Which needs open conversations and coverage. If you’re a person who is spitting your dummy because this upsets you then you need ask yourself why. I think it’s great that the @BBCCountryfile has aired. It’s well overdue and it’s a good thing if it creates an open dialogue.
I’ve been wanting it for years and even chatted to my mate @RobGMacfarlane about it. I am in forests, woodlands and mountains a lot and I have to be straight, I am a minority in these places and many a times I have been made to feel that these places are not for me and have even
Had the question “what are you doing here” and “why are you here”. I love it though because it’s part of my life’s work to help show people that WE ARE ALL NATURE. Nice one @BBCCountryfile. Big up yourself.
