Cam's body has been broken for a while. The hope is he's healthy, if he is, the Patriots are right back to being one of the best teams in the league, but the recent evidence can't be ignored.

The amount of ugly misses in just two games was startling.
And we can talk about him being hurt but he's been hurt for years at this point. You hope he's healthy. Any assumption that he's healthy isn't rational.
The injured foot is one thing, but Cam's never thrown with idea lower body mechanics and his arm has always been big enough to compensate. His shoulder injuries remain a bigger concern to me than the foot.
This is a near hash throw to a wide open out route. Should be routine.
Much of Cam's value over his career has been in his deep ball. His ability to hit vertical routes consistently hasn't existed since midway through the 2017 season.
If you're this far off on a drag, you can't be on the field.
The amount of effort and the complete lack of velocity on this throw needs to be seen to be believed considering what Cam's arm did previously.
The Bucs game was where it got really bad. It was a Thursday Night Game so quick turnaround. Lot of deep misses that weren't close.
He shard the field with Jameis and matched him blow-for-blow with ugly miss after ugly miss.
Nowhere close.
Ball dying on a pick play.
Samuel gets a step and the ball is about 10 yards underthrown so he has to stop and go back into the DB.
Cam was one of the best QBs of his generation. He's going to a situation that's better than any he's ever been in before. Hopefully all of these plays are irrelevant in two months.
