The thing with IMJOONSCRAB/BTS Snipper is the can gain a huge following because there’s a massive amount of ARMYs that don’t want to have to think for themselves enough even to write their own email. That’s a really big problem.
Aside from the issue of email templates being used for minor things and clogging up an email inbox that should be used for really serious matters, the entire basis is bad because it takes away the need for ARMYs to fully understand a situation or think critically about it.
And the behaviour we saw in response to BTS Snipper’s doxxing claims is another indicator of this. Nobody stopped to consider it was strange that someone would give 50k people info that could put their life at risk. They didn’t think for themselves, they just went with it.
And then people actually DID get hacked and doxxed because of one person’s word. If that doesn’t show dangerous it is to not think independently and critically I don’t know what is.
I saw so many times people defending IMJOONSCRAB because they were ‘helping’ by making email templates but why do you NEED those templates? Let’s talk about that. Even if your English is not good it’s irrelevant because person reading the emails is going to be Korean
I’ve said this before, but if you don’t have enough grasp of a situation to even write an email maybe you shouldn’t be emailing in the first place? I sure as hell wouldn’t let someone else’s words do my talking for me. I don’t know why so many of you are okay with that
