I found this on the @GaDPH website.

Positive antibody tests are counted the same as new cases.

I had questions about that, and made calls.

This is what I learned..

Calling @GaDPH I was told they "had to be counted" because of contact tracing.
I said this was a dishonest practice. We need to know how many actual "new cases" there are in GA on any given day. We also need to know how many people have antibodies.

I was told that they don't have that data, and she didn't know why they did that. I was told to call @GovKemp office. Which I did.

3/
I was told by his office that he had no control over how the numbers were counted that was @GaDPH purview, and I should put my request in writing through constituent services. Which I did.

4/
I then reached out to my local state representative, and I hope to hear back from her soon. I also have reached out to local news organizations in the hopes of getting better answers to my questions.

Yesterday, GA posted 10761 tests, and 1874 "positives" That is a rate of 17%

How many of that number are antibody tests? We don't know.

How many of that number were done in hospitals from patients entering for procedures? We don't know.

It seems that we are making a lot of decisions, that affect a lot of people here in GA @georgiagov and the citizens of GA do not have access to transparent data. Transparency helps to overcome fear.

I am going to keep calling. Will keep you updated.
