I’m seeing a number of women on here getting burnt out by OnlyFans...
I think we need to have a conversation about mental health and ‘sex positivity’ in general.

Nothing shameful about commodifying your body, but it can slip so easily into equating self-worth with body image.
If selling nudes is your source of validation, you’re going to run empty.
Capitalism is a dehumanising process, please don’t tie your mental health to it!

Don’t get it twisted, we should 100% support
sex
workers
but let’s not pretend it’s all butt plugs and sunshine. Opening your body to anonymous criticism is excruciating, and takes a real toll on workers.
Sex work is not something to dabble in lightly! Be careful.

I think too many people approach sex work like painting: “Oh, that’s easy, I could do that” without realising it’s a _job_ and like anything requires commitment and actual work.
This is a large factor in why sex workers are devalued, and tbh it’s disrespectful as hell.
