Me talking to fellow #womenintech when they're negotiating their salaries/applying for jobs, but are severely downplaying their skill level, ability, experience, accomplishments, and the overall amazingness they bring to the table

:

Me when my #womenintech friends say they didn't negotiate because it made them uncomfortable, and they were "just lucky to get an offer"

:

Me helping women get paid equally and fairly by providing the tools/skills/resources needed to get the same salary as their male counterparts, despite it sometimes feeling "pushy" or "aggressive":
Me when a friend says "WOW- you're right, I got [X amount] more!!" and seeing them realize they should *ALWAYS* negotiate and that they provide extreme value to this industry and the uncomfortableness was worth it.
Priceless.

My friends when they realize how much more they could have been making if they had negotiated in their previous roles
:

My friends sharing this knowledge with other women to make sure they are also paid equally and fairly

If you're looking for help, resources, etc. This thread has a bunch! Now, go get paid bb- you're worth it!

Look, negotiating is uncomfortable and the absolute worst. But girl, you gotta. Otherwise you're gonna be doing the same amount of work as others for much less.
