3M Open at TPC Twin Cities!!!
Super excited about this tournament!! Not only cause I was on fire last weekend, but because I am from Minneapolis and will be playing Victory Links (the 3M qualifier course adjacent to TPCTC) on Sunday while the tour pros play!!

First, let’s talk about the course.
Arguably the biggest debate in golf right now is are the golf courses too easy?
Guys are hitting it longer than ever, taking bunkers and water out of play and making every hole a birdie opportunity. Is this better or worse for the game?

Guys are hitting it longer than ever, taking bunkers and water out of play and making every hole a birdie opportunity. Is this better or worse for the game?
Well, I’ve heard both points of view regarding this debate. Many of the tour pros hate the courses that present a birdie opportunity at every hole, claiming if everyone is 20-25 under par, no one has a chance to really separate themselves.
On the other hand, last Sunday at Muirfield, conditions were fierce, holes were longer, rough was taller, pin placement was tough. Almost the entire field struggled. Many would say this is far less entertaining, I would argue it gives players a chance to separate themselves.

The 2019 3M open ended with the most birdies by a combined field of any tourney in the season.
Of the 49 golf courses on tour in 18-19’ TPC Twin Cities had a tour average of -1.545 under par.
The cut line last year was -4.

That being said, TPC Twin Cities comes in at 7,468 yards. The 7th longest course on tour last season.
Brooks said it best yesterday, it’s a bomber’s paradise.
