Work by its nature is paid. I am so worried that this is going to just get worse and worse as people understandably are so eager to “work”, but it’s only work if you are paid otherwise it is a hobby and that’s fine too but for it to be a job/career/work IT HAS TO BE PAID!

We had to work really hard during this pandemic persuading the world that our industry was one worth saving, that it was a real industry. If after all that we all work for free then what was the point, they were right all along.

I realise this means we have to all commit to broadening opportunity , finding entry level pathways etc but let’s not pretend it’s only developing artistis working for free. It’s people at all levels who can afford to.
