Jimin being exceptional student, amazing athlete and all round highly intelligent person; a thread @BTS_twt
Jimin was part of the student council from elementary to high school. He became famous as he got admitted into Busan Arts School as a valedictorian.
He received scholarship to study in China for his amazing dancing skills.
He was class president for 9 consecutive years as one of the top students.
His teachers from old schools didn't want him to move to another school because how good he was.
He learned modern dance only for over a year when he was accepted into Busan High School of Arts.
Male students were minority in dance department and despite that Jimin became top dance student.
As his skills weren't perfect first, it was combined with his previous academic records because he had such good grades.
Jimin always sat in front row and class and listened to teacher's lectures and talked a lot.
He was the only student among Art/Music/Dance majors to get 100 in his math exam.
Jimin once said that his IQ is 128 which is quite high.
When BTS was asked about their most hated subject in class, everyone answered math, except Jimin, who loves math.
He also likes reading books and we saw him reading a couple of times.
During Run BTS they were asked math question, Tae & JK gave up right away and he answered in seconds.
After watching One Piece he get interested in sword fighting and started learning Kendo which is modern Japanese martial art, which descented from swordsmanship. He learned it for 8 years. He also learned taekwondo and has black belt in it.
Another thing that Jimin is really good is football. He was playing football since middle school and was a member of the football club at school. You can watch him showing his skills on Knowing Bros.

He was also in billard club in school, because why not at this point.
When Jimin joined BH he had to transition from modern to hiphop dance to be able to debut. Mastering this transition is almost impossible and really difficult for most dancers, but Jimin did it.
Jimin studied popping for 8 years after being inspired by legendary Rain.

He even danced at his teacher's wedding.

Jimin is also very good at writing melodies. He wrote melody to Blood, Sweat and Tears, one of their biggest hits. Even if he wasn't credited for that. Ekhm ekhm.
In this upcoming album, the members each got their own important role. Jimin is production manager. He compiling the members ideas, what kind of music style they want, how many songs, what they concept will be, etc. He talked about it here.
It's really important role that require good memory, quick thinking and analitic mind. We could see him taking notes of what the members are saying.
This thread is way too long. Jimin is extremally intelligent person which various talents who don't talk about it often. Let's appreciate him and love him for the amazing person that he is.
