What temperature (and above) constitutes a fever in children? (RECTAL measurement)
Which of the following is least likely to cause a fever:
A baby/child feeling warm to the touch always means they have a fever.
What is the most ACCURATE way to measure an infants temperature?
I don't feel comfortable taking a rectal temperature. What is the next best option for my 1 year old?
My child has a temperature of 38°C/100.4°F. I should give them medication to treat it.
If I don't treat my child's fever, then their temperature will keep increasing and they may experience complications such as brain damage or febrile seizure.
