I've had a bit of feedback from yesterday's thread, and I have of course read a lot of other comments about Kew's reopening, so I'd just like to add a few more thoughts. It will take time to get all of this right given the situation we're currently in. I view the current access arrangements as part of that 'groping in the dark' as they try to find the best way to operate. Hopefully, with experience, wider access will follow. Secondly... 2
...a lot of people have commented that 6 documents doesn't allow any form of analytical research. I mostly follow military history accounts here on Twitter, and I suspect that's true in reverse, so it can be a bit of an echo chamber. Yes, the current access arrangements... 3

The access at Kew isn't ideal - I realise that and I'm sure so do they. But remember, a lot of the history and heritage industry is still closed altogether right now, so Kew reopening, however limited it might be, is still a positive step. Just my two pence.
