FB ads Thread

I feel sorry for brand owners that don’t understand Facebook ads. When you’re starting out, you need learn to do them yourself.

There’s plenty of people who put out amazing content that teaches you the ropes.

Here are some I think are best to learn from...

(1/2)
Learn the basics and you’ll be able to spot the crooks. Equally, you can react quicker to what you or they need.

I got lucky and got myself into a position where I’m good at FB ads. As a brand owner, I can react quicker than any agency or freelancer as I’m my only client.
Building a campaign at the start is all about simplicity. You need new customers right? So spend as much as you can getting that data through the pixel.

No fancy bollox with video views and brand awareness, just get dem sales.
Learn about your core metrics and make sure you’re profitable. The main metrics we look at are:

Gross margin
Net margin
CPA
AOV
CR%
Sessions
RPR/ LTV
When you feel comfortable with your metrics, then start scaling.

You don’t need to do a million in your first month because you’ve seen someone do it. Especially if it’s gonna cost you £999k to achieve it (or worse).

Take it slow and go at your own pace.
Stop being lazy and start learning. Make yourself a better brand owner by understanding the game.

When you know the game and then need some outside help, then reach out to an agency or freelancer but make sure they are actually GOOD!!

Have a nice week ✌🏼
