WRU refuses right of clubs to choose their comps, refuses right of clubs to negotiate own TV deal, refuses to note competition money belongs to clubs, imposes a possibly illegal wage banding it then regulates & oversees appeals, then wonders why clubs can't raise their own loans
WRU lies about independence of PRB, which has inbuilt voting imbalance towards the WRU, with a Chair who isn't independent as he/she is a WRU director. WRU breaks PRB finance agreement by covering Dragons losses & providing favourable terms of use for RP, but no sale yet agreed
WRU is trying to raise a loan to see through the next few months pre-vaccine, yet is still prime pumping a business (so making the sale more difficult) it has for sale. WRU is now £7m plus in the red with the Dragons after Phillips claims "we aren't going there to lose money"
Now is the time the WRU should be selling the Dragons. The Os managed a sale during Covid19, why can't Buttress & the Dragons? Rent for RP should be charged at the market rates.
The idea that there could be a strike because the WRU has not wanted players to claw back what they are owed shines a light on those leading the organisation. They aren't fit to do so. The replacement CEO must come from outside of the WRU in order to break the rotten thinking
