You may know that Laylat al-Qadr is the pinnacle of the last ten nights of Ramadan, and is the best night of the year. Similarly, the Day of âArafah is the pinnacle of the first ten days of Dhul Hijjah. Showing that it is the best day of the entire year.
It is mentioned that if one fasts in the day of Arafah or is doing the pilgrimage on this day their sins from the previous year and present year is wiped away and erased. The forgiveness of this day is immense
The Prophet (saw) said, âThere is no day on which Allah (swt) frees people from the Fire more so than on the Day of âArafah. Indeed, He draws near and then boasts of them to the angels then says, âWhat do these want?ââ [Muslim]
Laylat al-Qadr is the night when the Qurâan was first sent down. Meanwhile, the Day of âArafah is the day when Allah perfected our beautiful religion of Islam.
On the day of Arafah it is recommended for a person to make dua, to fast, to seek forgiveness, to make dhikr and to give a prophetic Qurbani.
