ANNOUNCEMENT: We have raised enough funds that we can offer up to 400 FREE submissions to Black writers for our contest, judged by @speakdeadly (poetry), @corinfiction (fiction), @senatormayukh (nonfiction), and @cpamzhang (flash).
We have a special Submittable portal set up for this here: https://bit.ly/30ZGj0U . We plan on offering this for all of our yearly contests going forward, and we also know that we have more work to do and this effort alone is not enough.
If you are a Black writer who has already submitted to either our contest or our general submissions, please email us at [email protected] to receive a refund for your fee. If you submitted to our general submissions, we will consider your work for the contest.
