The reason I won’t ever be able to reconcile with the idiots who sold us brexit? This one reason, out of many. It’s the insult to our intelligence over the NI border. We all knew EU membership solved the border issues and brexit unsolved it. 1.
It was obvious the flag waving morons didn’t understand we had a border with the single market in someone else’s country. It was obvious leave voters,despite living through IRA activity weren’t bright enough to understand it didn’t just solve itself by magic. 2.
Then there was the indignity of the ‘Malthouse Compromise’ which Nicky Morgan said, had secured his place in history. EH? Looked like a massive, ‘oh shit, let’s pause whilst we look for technology that doesn’t exist!’ moment to me. 3.
Then there was the Alternative Arrangements Commission, which to be frank, was the most embarrassing charade. Shankar Singham wrote a WHOLE paper about technology that doesn’t exist. That’s a skill that is . Endless bollocks, page after page 4.
I can’t forgive these fantasists because they still haven’t admitted they sold the voting public a work of fiction akin to ‘Gone with Wind’, with nearly as much rascism. 5.
