I understand the desire by the folks at the Lincoln Project to divest themselves of the Trump stain. I get it. But you can't get from Point A to Point C without getting past Point B, which is to acknowledge that the GOP traffics in racism & relies on the votes of racists.
As I have said: This. Is. Not. New. It did not start with Trump. It is just that it was done quietly behind the filter of politesse. So I am sorry. I appreciate the great videos from the Lincoln Project & I welcome all votes to help end the national nightmare. But for the love of God, can we please end this DELUSION that Trump is an anomalous racist of the Republican Party? It is time for truth. From everyone.
