Yes. Decided to look into Zaha's G+A record with a bit more detail and going to compare him to a LW who has scored 40 goals in the last 2 seasons. https://twitter.com/c_d_14/status/1288435931926626305
Clearly Zaha isn't that happy at Palace and wants a move. But look at his record in 17/18 and 18/19 in comparison to Mane's last two at Southampton. Not even going to include 16/17 when he scored 7 and assisted 9.
Mane 10G 3A in 14/15 and 11G 6A in 15/16. Zaha 9G 3A in 17/18, 10G 5A in 18/19. So 30 goals/assists in 2 seasons compared to 27 for Zaha. Mane left Southampton at 24. Zaha 26 at the end of the 18/19 season. So not a big difference.
The main difference being Southampton at that time were a much better side than Palace are now. Both players dont really take penalties or set pieces so it's a solid comparison.
Mane scored 23 and assisted 6 in his first 2 PL seasons at Liverpool. Clearly his stats have gone up as Liverpool have improved...last 2 season his average is now 20 a season.
So I really dont see any reason why Zaha's goal contributions won't improve a significant amount playing in a top 6 team in comparison to a Palace side that are awful in attack. Excluding this season, his numbers are actually quite good already.
