This is what I miss about tour:
"Is the venue open?"

[searching silently through a top bunk in the dark so as not to wake anyone]

About to leave, someone else wakes up...
"Wait you're going to the Thai place. Give me a second to find my shoes."
[everyone sits and waits, watching VH-1 Classic 'til they find their shows. The satellite keeps dropping in and out because the bus is parked under a tree]

Bus driver comes in.
"There's a McDonald's across the street. Also today I need you guys to take the sheets off your bed."
"We're getting Thai."

Driver launches into 20 minute story about his trip. Shoes guy returns.

We all put our jackets and hoodies on and leave the bus.
Shoes guy: "ah shit I left my cigarettes on the bus"
"Dude just get some on the way. We only have an hour before load in now."
"Are we really going to walk?"
"IT'S ONLY .3 MILES!!"
"I think I'll just got to McDonalds"
