My therapist reminded me of something yesterday that I'd like to share with you:
If you are doing what makes you happy, and you're not hurting anyone, then you are not a disappointment. If anyone is disappointed in you for being happy and not hurting people, that's on them.
If you are doing what makes you happy, and you're not hurting anyone, then you are not a disappointment. If anyone is disappointed in you for being happy and not hurting people, that's on them.
I am not a disappointment for not going to university.
I am not a disappointment for not having a professional job.
I am not a disappointment for being quiet and non-social.
I am not a disappointment.
I am not a disappointment.
I am not a disappointment.
And you aren't either.

I am not a disappointment.
I am not a disappointment.
I am not a disappointment.
And you aren't either.
I've been quiet the last few weeks. I was disappointed in a lot of people, which led to massive feelings of disappointment in myself.
But I'm still doing quiet things that spark me. I still made my monthly charitable donation. I still paid rent.
And that's enough. I'm enough.
