I already know what is going to happen with the Breonna Taylor investigation. Its the same thing every time.
Its going to either be "inconclusive," cops may be fired but then theyll gain money and/or notoriety, or the off chance theyll go to jail and people will call it a win but when
time for discussions about how Black women are criminalized, how full abolition is the only way we can ensure that ends, and how the criminal punishment system will never protect us, it will be crickets.
Its the same system that broke into her house and murdered her that now people trust to enact justice. It will not make sense to me, no matter how angry people get.
