When you frame trans rights as something only trans people can dictate, you take away the appeal to good will in GCs' faux claims of allyship.
Many retreat to insisting not all trans people believe the same things.
Thing is, that's true. But it directly undermines their broadbrush "TRA" depiction.

Not all trans people are the same. Which is why some of us are harmed by a slur that slides right off others. We're different. Which is why surgery matters to some and not others. Ditto passing, using gendered spaces, hormones, and trans youth affirming services.
What they ridicule is the fact all trans people are different. Because when they vaunt their collection of 5 GC trans tokens, they're insisting we must all be like their tokens, otherwise we're unreasonable.
They want us all to be uniform. In the image they dictate. But we don't all have the same needs. We don't all suffer the same particulars of transphobia.
Only we can dictate our needs.
And including all our needs? Including all trans women's needs? That's what they label TRA.

You will find that above all, all their tokens have one thing in common: they grant GCs permission to frame trans women as dangerous men.
They hurl "TRA" at anyone who doesn't. But as a trans woman, they hurl it at us for breathing. Our existence is the great affront they fight.
