In last few years, India has shown the audacity to undertake most fundamental reforms. Whether it is health, education, sanitation, housing, physical or digital infra, it has taken bold steps to shake the system & address most basic challenges!

Starting with the very aspect of replacing cooking fuel from wood to a LPG cylinder. Women used to spend hours collecting firewood & houses used to be filled with smoke leading to major breathing issues. Today, 8 Crore+ gas connections have been provided by Ujwala Yojana! (2/n)
Keep country clean and using a toilet. Note how basic the premise is. Open defecation was such a big menace - spreading communicable diseases and limiting women's access to sanitation. Today, 10 Crore+ toilets have been built by Swacch Bharat! (3/n)
Then came the Jan Dhan Yojana addressing the problem of starting a bank account. Middle men used to take control of govt subsidies while beneficiaries were bereft. Today, 40 Crore+ have banked through this. With JAM trinity, Govt directly sends money to bank accounts (4/n)
Saving lives directly! Every year 6 crore+ citizens used to fall below poverty line because of high health expenditure. World's largest publicly funded Ayushman Bharat PM-JAY covers 50 Crore+ citizens against such expenditure. 1 Crore+ citizens have already been saved. (5/n)
And finally the recently launched education policy comprising flexible and recategorized curriculum, promotion of local languages, multiple exit options in degree etc. Addressing basic challenges which had made our education a maze rather than a catalyst! (6/n)
There are 100s of more such reforms in areas such as digitisation, trade, agriculture etc. My bet on country's growth for next decade lies on these fundamental reforms. Building on this, I am envisioning a monumental next decade for lndia'a growth. (n/n)
