but it was also stupid. The EU and the ECHR have no time for anti LGBT policies, look at the swift withdrawal of funds to the Polish towns that have adopted anti LGBT legislation, Poland was on track to be a net contributor to the EU in 7 years time but pulling economic subsidies
will put that back, particularly if more towns have funding withdrawn.
Scotland as an independent country is viable, sort of, but without EU membership, it’s a much less wealthy and prosperous prospect and if the EU will pull funds from actual members, it will have no problem

rejecting membership from a new applicant, with the same kind of regressive policies.
Sturgeon is bright, she’s on the ball, she knows the game and a prosperous independent Scotland is a long game and there are boxes to tick.

I’m sure she’s held her anti trans views for many years but she didn’t voice them until it was an issue that would split the independence vote. Now she’s the poster girl for Cherry’s views, the single biggest contributor to Better Together, is now on the same side as Wings et al.
That really should tell you something.
