I'm not saying rules were broken, @UKRI_News but there must be accountability for the process and decisions that meant someone who was connected to x3 of the 6 awards, was also a panel member. In fairness to them, they've been open & honest to their response to all my question
I Believe @UKRI_News are undertaking some type of review analysis at the moment. I wish to input into this process and I am pushing that there is some open and transparent way for other Black academics to engage.
Knowledge is power. These processes and system effect the shape of research. Research affects policy and policy directly affects our lives. These processes could have life or death consequences for my community @UKRI_News
@UKRI_News This year I've seen my community disproportionately affected by COVID and a light shone onto many aspects of systemic and structural discrimination in the UK. Many Expert Black academics are just looking for ways to contribute. This is so important to get right.
