An intense week for me and the other board members of @nufctrust
We have worked hard to make things happen after speaking to Amanda last weekend

First of all every member of @nufctrust old and new. Fans coming together makes me so proud to support this club.
The effort put in - people emailing MPs, signing and sharing the petition and loads more. People doing stuff, doing whatever they can for their club.... (2)

As a fan base ridiculed for all sorts by the more ridiculous members of the national press - we’ve proved we’re organised and diligent. We’ve taken the call for transparency from the PL nationwide. It’s been a campaign driven by thousands #nufc fans in their spare time (3)
On top of that we’ve been hugely backed up by the local press who’ve done everything I’ve ever asked of them for @nufctrust (and loads more)
Too many to mention but @MsiDouglas @GeorgeCaulkin @ChrisDHWaugh & @ADMusgrove have been as passionate about the Trust as any of us (4)

Then we have various fan groups and accounts coming together and answering the call for unity. That’s been missing for a long time as supporters but that’s in the past and the future looks bright. It’s been a massive effort this week beyond NUST and that matters a lot (5)
So far we have 29 MPs on board calling for transparency from the PL. nearly 7,000 emails sent to local MPs and 9 MPs outside of the North East have joined us. This is all because of you. It was unimaginable that we’d be here 7 days ago (6)
And we aren’t done yet. We want to get our cross-party letter out next week to show that that the North East is United in demanding answers. The louder the calls from MPs the more pressure there will be in the media and government.

So thanks to everyone - for the kind words and the compliments. I really appreciate them and at the moment can’t get back to everyone as quickly as I’d like.
