reduce your consumption of any unnecessary plastic. ideas:
1. avoid plastic water bottles
2. use reusable straws
3. do NOT buy plastic disposable floss picks (use floss like a normal person ?????????ยฟ)
4. buy reusable bags
5. buy cloth bags for when picking out produce in stores

use sulfate free shampoo and washing products. it's better and healthier for you and better and healthier for our water
don't use synthetic bath poufs - they're made of nylon and they also get very gross very fast

grow your own stuff!! there's a lot of produce that is easy to grow and yields more than once - you also reduce money spent this way
consider cutting out synthetic fabrics off your wardrobe as much as possible since they contribute greatly to microplastic pollution

don't fly if you can drive!! I know driving ~12 hours doesn't sound fun especially when you can get a cheap plane ticket but you wouldn't believe the difference in greenhouse gasses emissions between the two
