Should we consider goalkeepers from the Championship in our fpl teams and how many points should we expect coming from them?
As an fpl newbie I asked myself this question last night and thought might aswell do some research and make a thread out of it.

Out of these keepers the average points is 137. 33 points less than Pope this season. But who are the goalkeepers coming up and should we consider them in our teams next season?
Leeds- Francisco Casilla/ Illan Meslier.
Casilla played 34 out of the 46 games before getting banned for 8 games for racially abusing Charlton player Leko. He didnt play for 10 straight games but then played the last 2 games.
Clean sheets- 15

Meslier only played 10 games in the championship this season but it looked like that he was the preferred choice for Bielsa by the end of the season. A key thing to note is that he saved 3 consecutive penalties for the u23 side.

I believe that a 4.5 goalkeeper from the wouldn't be a bad pick in your FPL starting 11. It allows you to spread the budget elsewhere. Out of all of the teams and goalkeepers I named Leeds United were the team to concede the least amount of into your team for a bargain price!
