Extremely frustrated to see another hollow call for general strike with nothing to back it up. We've been through this twelve times already since Trump's election. Please stop. #NoMoreFakeStrikes
You want to do a general strike? Start at a city/regional level.

You need at least 20% of workers ready to walk out. You need a platform of demands everyone can agree to. You need anti-eviction squads. You need food and medical mutual aid. You need people willing to fight cops.
Try organizing a #GeneralStrike in Portland. If Portland can get organized enough and mad enough to go on strike for one week then maybe, possibly, you can take that template and apply it in other cities. Then maybe in a decade we can dream about a national GS.
Until then, #NoMoreFakeStrikes
Sorry to be a debbie downer, but I've seen too many people call for a #generalstrike without any idea of the mass organization required.

Calling for a general strike on twitter is like Michael Scott yelling, "I declare bankruptcy!" There's so much more involved.
