Women are afraid of walking in the night, they'll say "we know of at least one man who had bad intentions (rapist)". Well, every single man knows of at least one woman who used sex to manipulate them or other men. That's why men find it hard to believe you earned your positions.
So don't fault men for their skepticism. When women say, "we can't tell who is good and bad". Well, we'll say, "we can't tell who has slept her way up or not". We are your victims of sexual manipulation, just as you're our victims of rape. In both cases, it's our scars speaking.
When women say, "it's not our fault that we are apprehensive around you", we tell men, we need to work on ourselves. Well, stop faulting men's cynicism on what has been mainstreamed by you. And if you won't, then make peace with the kind of skepticism & cynicism that pervades your career paths. You can't have your cake and eat it. If women can say "all men", then men can say "all women". If it is good for the goose then it is good for the gander. Even-Steven.
