1. Kashmir is a bilateral issue between India-Pak
2. Biden&Kamala said something about Kashmir & CAA, which hurt my feelings

CHOOSE ONE.
Because, by choosing both, you inadvertently admit that US has a say in India's domestic affairs and Kashmir.

Y'all are judging Kamala and Biden by what their stand is on CAA/NRC and Art370, which are strictly domestic affairs.
This is a very myopic view of foreign policy.
This is a very myopic view of foreign policy.
Kamala & Biden can say whatever the fuck they want to say about Indian domestic affairs and Kashmir, but it doesn't change anything. Had US politicians had a say in their allies' domestic affairs, Saudi Arabia would have done away with its gender apartheid by now
I am going to judge the candidates this election by what they bring to India wrt foreign affairs and trade, rather than writing them off just because of some random statements about domestic affairs. Here, I list my issues:
1. Is Biden going to slowroll the withdrawal of American troops from Afghanistan and STOP bullying India to hold talks with terrorist Taliban, just like Trump is doing?
2. Is Biden going to have a nuanced approach on Iran, or is he going to force India to leave cheap oil just because US doesn't like it? Trump bullied India out of Iran, thereby directly playing into Chinese hands.
Remember, Iran recently snubbed India in the Chahabar infrastructure project. Iran is gonna sign a $400B deal with China. Biden may revive Iran nuclear deal, hence giving space to India in Iran.
3. Is Biden going to be as harsh as Trump on Indian immigrants and students?
4. Is Biden going to be harsh
on China, not just in trade, but also geopolitically: giving Taiwan a place in UN?

5. Is Biden going to respect the fact that Kashmir is a bilateral issue? We already have an answer for that. Obama-Biden administration respected bilateral nature of Kashmir, meanwhile, Trump...
I'm not endorsing Biden/Harris. I'm just looking at all angles before rooting for a candidate this election. Everybody here is jumping the gun to support Trump (just because he keeps quiet on India's domestic affairs), without even giving the other ticket one hard look.
