In three weeks, 3 men in their 30’s have died. 6 years ago, I was in prison and neighbours of these 3 men. They had many things common, no.1 was their endless potential and intelligence, that was robbed from them by their demon addictions.
They all had families that loved them and families they loved, but their demon addiction did not always allow them show that love.
They died directly due to their addictions, while society might label them homeless, criminals and junkies...

The men I met had dreams, desires and ambitions. They had talents that left me in jealous. They had compassion that helped me so much, they saw my pain, because they recognised it.
So let’s begin to show compassion for those people who might be suffering. Let us stop looking how to punish, let us look at ways to nourish those dreams, desires and ambitions.
