OK SO hes basically from an au where keicho got the requiem stand arrow from p5 instead of the regular one. and it gets stolen by akira way earlier, who uses it on rohan. and rohan ends up getting the arrow for himself when he gets heavens door for the first time. so he doesnt do
anything with it at first (mostly keeping it bc it looks nice) until he gets curious and starts playing around with it. he has an accident and ends up piercing HD with the arrow, and breaks off a piece of it that gets lodged inside of his stand. he then gets heavens door requiem.
theory time: requiem stands are given powers that are desired by their user at that moment (polnareff wanted to protect the arrow, giorno wanted to get rid of diavolo). rohan, before he got beaten up, considered himself above everyone. this feeling was only bolstered by-
his newfound stand powers. he wanted to be able to experience reality, to find the truth in the world so his manga could be authentic. and so, HDR gains the power to rewrite reality!! it works like regular HD, but its book transmutation powers can be applied to human/animals/-
inanimate objects all at once (while HD can only transmute one thing at a time). someone only needs to see HDR for rohan to be able to write in them (no physical touch required), and its described as hard to look at. it's a powerful stand that's only limited by its user.
rohan, already burdened with an ego, convinces himself that he is the only truth on the earth. he makes it his duty to rewrite everything into his own image. he develops a god complex and spirals into a power hungry shell of himself that trusts no one and is feared by all. its-
basically a what if situation (what if no one was around to knock rohan off his high horse when he got his stand + what if rohan got the requiem arrow) that explores how badly rohan's self-centered personality could have gotten out of hand. also evil rohan cool
he keeps the arrowhead on a necklace because hes an asshole that doesn't want to share. hes also the only one that can look at HDR and not have his eyes bleed
