I've been doing body weight workouts every morning for about 6 weeks now [THREAD]

And I feel strong.. and more flexible.. and more agile.. than I have felt since I played soccer as a teen.. ⚽️

If you have any back/neck/shoulder/leg pains.. like I did.. or have depression 😦

I highly recommend (I can not stress this enough) starting a workout routine at home using nothing but your own body weight.

I'm 30 years old now, and I can once again fully bend over and touch my toes.. whereas before I had excruciating back pain when i bent over at all..

One of the main benefits of body weight over lifting weights is the fact you can't really over lift or strain your muscles. I hurt my back doing too much weight on the squat rack and leg press machines. And for what ?

I have achieved the sames results without the pain..
I also now have so much more energy than I did by not working out at all. And for me, since I workout in the morning, I really feel like my body is more "warmed up" to take on the day.

It's just like the idea that you would never run a race without stretching first.
