Nicknames: Rojillos
Shirt: HOME and AWAY đź‘•

Osasuna's emblem have been split into two kits as they are celebrating their centenary year.

Home shirt in red as usual, with the away in the navy blue.

While the emblem and details on the kits are all in gold.
Shirt: 3RD đź‘•

The third kit is also a representation of the badge. With the white taking a center role and the red and navy blue in the details.

This shirt is also a tribute to Sportiva one of Osasuna's founding clubs, who played in white.
Club Atlético Osasuna was founded in 2020 (It's unclear on what date), as a result of a merge between Sportiva and New Club.

The name Osasuna being a basque word that means health, strength and vigor.
A beautiful gesture from Osasuna was that they had club legend Patxi Puñal be the one wearing the centenary kits in the unveiling video.

It just doesn't get more Osasuna than Patxi Puñal
Patxi Puñal started to play for Osasuna as a 9 year old and spent his entire professional career (except for a loan at Leganés) at the club, retiring in 2014

He is the player who played the most matches for the club in it's history, 458.
As a kid he went to El Sadar with his dad, remembering the flares and when the fences came up to keep fans from throwing stuff

At the start of his career Puñal would split his time between football and work. Going to training in the morning and the factory in the evening
He made his debut for Osasuna in 1997 playing in Segunda. 14 seasons of LaLiga football would later follow

During his 17 year long career Puñal became a legend and icon for the club. But his farewell match would not be what he had hoped
In his last match Osasuna played Betis. Fighting for survival on the final day, they took the lead and a part of the stand fell as fans celebrated

The photo of Betis player N'Diaye carrying a injured Osasuna boy became the image of the match. Thankfully no one got seriously hurt
Osasuna ended up winning the match 2-1 but it wasn't enough and in his last match Puñal saw his Osasuna relegated.

A 17 year long career, ending in tears.
Last season review:

LaLiga: 10th 52p
Copa del Rey: Round of 16

🗣️ Osasuna returned to LaLiga after having spent two seasons in Segunda. And they did incredibly. Ending 10th only 4 points from Europa. They were one of the most impressive sides in the league.
El Sadar is historically known to be one of the most difficult away grounds in Spain, and upon Osasuna's LaLiga return that proved true yet again.

When they lost at home to Athletic in November, they had gone 31 consecutive matches (between Segunda and LaLiga) unbeaten at home
Most significant loss:

Pervis Estupiñán

The full-back is returning to Watford after his loan and it's a major blow for Osasuna, as he had an incredible season and played a vital part in both their defence and attack.
Most significant signing:

Juan Cruz

Osasuna's game have focused a lot on the fullbacks and with Estupiñán gone, new signing Juan Cruz has big shoes to fill

Cruz played a vital part for Elche last season, helping them win LaLiga promotion making most assists in Segunda
The coach

Jagoba Arrasate

Coming up through the Real Sociedad youth ranks Arrasate later spent most of his playing career in the lower levels of Spanish football.

He would also start his coaching career at the youth ranks of La Real, before getting a shot as first team coach
Later coaching Numancia Arrasate was only a play-off away from winning them LaLiga promotion.

Instead his biggest success have come at Osasuna. Taking over as head coach in 2018/19 he won them LaLiga promotion in his first season
In Osasuna's return to LaLiga last season Arrasate managed to maintain the attributes that had made his team successful in Segunda: High pressure, fast, direct, offensive fullbacks and a powerful passing game.

It saw them finish in the top part of the table and dream of Europe
Had it not been for another newly promoted team, Granada, taking a Europa League spot, there would probably have been a lot more talk about Osasuna's incredible achievement.

It's one that will be hard for them to beat.
