See, now I'm fucking annoyed. Y'all want to start that someone is a partner so they don't deserve anything else ever again line of fuckery? Let's go, I'm gonna make time for y'all today.
If you still out here thinking that getting Partnered on Twitch is the be-all, end-all accomplishment of your streaming career? Do I have some bad news for you. Ready? Buckle up.
It is not, I repeat it is not THE PINNACLE. Sponsorships, deals, subs, bits, do not fall in your lap once that checkmark is active. In fact, you gotta work harder because now you've gone from the river to the ocean of creators who also got that check mark.
Ask anyone who got partnered in the last couple of waves? Who applied for partner or sponsor when everyone is like we're open! Apply here, yet got turned down in less than 24 -72 hours. Ask how much back end work you gotta do to update your channel, socials, etc.
Attaining Partner status on Twitch is a step, before the incline gets steeper than it was before. You got a check? Cool, see all these other thousands of folks with one too. Your CCV isn't in 2, 3, 500's and up? Some companies don't see you.
Sure, you may get a bunch of OMG CONGRATS subs on those first couple streams once you got the badge, but sub drop is real and it fuckin' hurts when you aren't used to it.
But let's talk about that small streamer mentality. As long as you say I'm a small streamer? You gonna stay a small streamer. You stream, end of. Your content and who you are, the community you cultivate is going to bring folks to you. Eff a metric tying up your worth.
Yet, folks want to stay on this "You got a Partner badge, therefore you got that one bit of good on the platform forever and never try to improve" mentality. FOH.
You still grow and IMPROVE as a Partner. You can stagnate all you want with that check too. That's a you problem.

Folks that aren't partnered, with that mentality of I'm a small streamer always want to come at anyone with any success sideways like we're taking all the opportunities from y'all. There's always going to be more opps than streamers, period.
Go work on ya content, stop worrying about someone else's status and maybe you can get to where you think you should be. Cause you won't be there with this peeping in other folks pots to complain they got more than you do.
