PL prediction thread:
1. Manchester City: Despite the chasm between them and Liverpool in the table, City's underlying numbers were still very strong. Even with the departures of Sane, Silva their attack is just insane.
Adding Koulibaly will be absolutely key. Lack quality defenders

2. Liverpool: This is one of the best PL sides we've seen & while I do think they'll drop off this season, they'll still likely amass a massive points total.
If they sign Thiago they'd go above City as favourites for me

3. Chelsea: Ziyech & Werner are sensational bits of business. Havertz is a great talent, and Silva a shrewd fix.

coherent gameplan to fit all of the offensive talent on the pitch. Also in the absence of an ageing Kante, their midfield feels like a sieve.
Still, that attacking talent alone should see them comfortably in the top 4

4. Manchester United: Put up very good numbers after the restart last season. The return of Pogba & the arrival of Fernandes made them look like the Utd of old.
Despite doubts over defensive personnel, their defensive numbers were excellent all season.

depth and ensures that the team doesn't die if/when Pogba or Fernandes is out.
If they sign Sancho, could likely finish higher

5. Spurs: Genuinely unsure where we stand tbh. I think we'll have an alright season, but unsure whether it will be in the PL or other competitions.
Hojbjerg fixes a major hole, likewise Doherty. Kane looked back to his best after the restart which could be key

Absence of a standout defensive player is a concern, they're all a bit meh. But Mourinho will work a lot on that area.
Depending on how our priorities shape up, we could finish lower as we sacrifice the PL for other competitions.

6. Arsenal: They've been doing some good business tbh. Adding Gabriel and Saliba to a defence that includes Tierney and Leno makes them look good at the back for once.

A bit lucky with results under Arteta, but it's clear that he brings a clear game plan and the improvement is
undeniable. They have some top young talents too, especially Saka.
If they sign Aouar, could see them finishing above us. Again will likely come down to injuries and how priorities shape up

7. Everton: It's all very tight in the 5th-10th area. Everton looked really good before lockdown under Ancelotti. Calvert Lewin and Richarlison in particular were very dangerous.
They've now added an actual midfield in Allan, Doucoure and it's good!
James a big X factor

Him & Allan are players Ancelotti clearly loves. If James can stay fit he will be absolutely massive for Everton. Think he could have Payet at West Ham levels of influence
8. Wolves: Think they'll be just as good as we've seen in past seasons. Marcal is a shrewd buy, and Telles would give them a new dimension from LWB.
Even with Fabio Silva signing, a lot will come down to the excellent Jimenez. If he's out, I doubt the team works

9. Southampton: Hassenhuttl went from being almost sacked to being one of the managers of the season. The team's clearly playing to his tune, and he's a brilliant manager. Ings & JWP have been excellent. Salisu & KWP brilliant buys. Wouldn't be surprised if they get EL
10. Leicester. I still rate Leicester just think they'll get off to a bad start. Perreira is out for a while and Chilwell hasn't been properly replaced. Both were essential to the team's functioning last season.
They were very poor after the restart with Perreira out and now

Have UEL to contend with too. Vardy & Evans are also two key players getting to the point where you'd expect a drop off.
But they do have Iheanacho who remains great when on the pitch, and Fofana would be an excellent acquisition

11. Sheffield United: Surprise packages of last season and I expect them to be just as good this season. I like the additions of Ampadu, Bogle and Lowe. They definitely need better offensive options though. Burke should add some excitement though. Expect Berge to have a strong
Season and think we'll see Wilder innovate again. Think they'll have some difficult spells, but overall expect them to do very well
12. Burnley: Dyche gonna Dyche, Burnley gonna Burnley
13. Leeds: Best of the newly promoted sides. Put up excellent number sin the championship for quite a few years now. Don't think it will be smooth sailing at all, but I like their additions.
If they can add De Paul in particular I'd be confident of them doing well

14. Palace: If you asked me last season, I'd say Palace would go down in 20-21. Their recruitment was awful for a few years but they've done it right now. Michy is back and he'll score goals. Eze is a brilliant addition really. That attack looks so exciting rn and you'd imagine
That Hodgson will ensure that the defence and midfield remains compact and solid. They've redeemed themselves really with this window.
15. Brighton: I have them this low, but I think they could easily finish much higher and will very likely be safe quite easily imo. White coming back is huge and I love their defensive options.
They've got some excellent young talents through smart recruitment. Think Maupay

has a really good season. A team being underestimated by many imo
