We meet the Ludlow brothers (Alfred - Aidan Quinn, Tristan - Brad Pitt, Samuel - Henry Thomas) with their father (Colonel William - Sir Anthony Hopkins) in early 20th century Montana
The brothers join the 10th Battalion Canadian Expeditionary Force. This highly decorated unit of brave soldiers from WWI mobilized from Calgary on September 22, 1914.
