Why I’m not bothered about the Galileo project and the fact we aren’t talking part.
We are launching nano-satellites! (From Russia). We have the skills!
The innovation we show in this area is always outstanding, NASA still turn to us for precision!*

We are building launch sites, which will remove dependence on Russia!
This presents a huge opportunity to allow our companies to show they can do it cheaper and safer, and then take the market!
A lot of money to be made by completing this project.

The military advantages are clear to most, but the civilian advantages as we launch satellites the size of a desktop PC into low orbit to help scientists learn more about weather patterns, be more accurate on climate change, and much more!
Plus, there is a UK company currently in the process of designing and are close to getting ready to launch their satellites to provide global high speed broadband everywhere! With the government seeing an opportunity,,.
An opportunity to invest heavily and have GPS added at the same time.
Can you imagine how big OneWeb is going to be? They will provide broadband everywhere! Super fast broadband (and GPS... don’t worry about that
lol).
Invest now!*

*NASA use the U.K. for a lot, they have a problem they turn to us,what is requested we deliver.
Landing, or entering orbit using rockets, this stage is the highest risk, and can make/break the mission! We deliver this part, as well as many others.

*never take investment advice from some random person on Twitter, especially a person that knows nothing about investing and isn’t sure you can if the government have stepped in to get this project moving.
Interesting facts, we have never been about glamour with space travel, but the Americans couldn’t have put a man on the moon without us (something Nixon acknowledged as he put his arm around Francis Thomas Bacon and said "Without you, Tom, we wouldn't have gotten to the Moon."
As we focused on dominance in the tech. Meaning, the space design and build facility of EADS Astrium, we are home to Surrey Satellite Technology and IMMARSAT, the biggest satellite operator in the world, whose products cover 85 per cent of the globe.
I love this subject.
I love this subject.
It has been a bit of ramble, but, I’ll summarise with this, Galileo isn’t going to happen without the UKs help (the EU have already tried to demand intellectual property, from a U.K. company.
Maybe we can be nice and let them use whatever we make, the Americans let us...

...have their encryption codes because there’s a lot of UK equipment in their satellites, I’m sure we probably have an off switch
there’s a reason they always play us as the bad guys.
Hope you enjoyed this nonsensical thread, triggered by the launch of nano-satellites!
