Been enjoying some fpl podcasts this week and listening to peoples thoughts and opinions. Thought I would share my team for this week and some of my thought process. So here is my GW2 team:
I had Havertz in GW1 so have jumped on the Everton hype train early as Rodriguez looked good last week. Hopefully he will be for assists at least. No man u or man c players still which could hurt

Slightly late GW3 team reveal and its a wildcard team!
Decided to go early with the wildcard. Team wasn't terrible but I wasn't happy and a lot of better options are coming through. ASM not looking great and picking up a knock was the trigger for the wildcard.

I was already looking at Auba to KDB and Wilson to DCL for a - 4. Ended up changing 11 players 
. Werner survived but only because he's playing West Brom so he may finally start scoring. We'll see....

Like most people I had a shocker of a GW3. 39 points on the back of a wildcard is a bit disheartening but I am happy with my choices and this is a new game week! So here is my GW4 team!
Only change really is Werner out. He did nothing against West Brom and there are cheaper strikers doing well so I think it's time to move him on. Gone for Ings, would've liked Vardy but didn't have enough cash. Of course Werner will score a hat trick this week watch...
Stuck with Kev as my captain. Man City should come out to make up for last week and Leeds like to attack so tend to concede goals. Was hard to choose between KDB, Salah and Jiminez this week.
Fpl is back after the international break so here is my GW5 team. I wanted to save a transfer this week but KDB's injury forced a transfer to Son. The other players at KDB's price point all seem to be injury doubts as well .

Captain is Salah because I wasn't sure who to captain this week to be honest. So if in doubt just captain Salah is my philosophy . Though he hasn't scored against Everton so I wouldn't be surprised if he blanks.

I'm in lockdown and at 6.30pm my team went into lockdown as well. So here is my GW6 team. The major change is Jiminez for Kane. He's on fire at the moment so can't be ignored! Was always planning on getting him in this week (was gonna roll a transfer but KDB got injured)
Gone for Salah as captain though it was a close call between him and Kane. Sheff Utd aren't playing great defensively and it's Salah at home. Whilst Burnley haven't been great either they have tightened up a bit at the back. Mind you I said that about West Ham last week!
After a slightly rough Game week last week (49 points, 1 above the average) I am hoping for a better GW7. I've brought in Chilwell for Lampty, mainly as cover for the injured Rodriguez. Means a formation switch.
Captain is a reverse of last week so I expect the scores to switch as well as my captain scores have been a bit all over the place . In short I've gone for Kane, though could've easily gone Son or Salah.

Gw8 fpl team
As usual I want to roll a transfer but too many injuries and Saiss being dropped means I've had to make changes.
Took a -4 to bring in Creswell and Bamford for Saiss and Ings. Hate taking a hit but sometimes your hand is forced.

Captain armband is on Son this week which appears to be against the grain a little. However, he seems to do well away so might pay off.
Oh yeah the fpl deadline has passed so here is my team for this week (I know its next week's team but I am playing this team this week honest ).

Took another -4 in the transfer market this week. I brought Ziyech in for Podence before the international break (crazy! 
) as I had the cash to do it and wanted to beat the price rise. As Salah tested positive for Corona I decided to swap him for Grealish.

I see Jack as a long term pick so that's he came in. Rodriguez or Son are on my out list so I will probably bring Salah back in for one of them. Captain Jack this week, good week to try something different.
Captain Jack let me down last week but in the end I was only 1 point worse off than if I did nothing. Anyway here's my GW10 team:
Salah is back and slapped the armband straight back on him. Not owning Fernandes is my biggest concern but I don't think I could afford to take another -4. May also get punished by City
Another mediocre game week for me last week means I'm slowing sliding backwards down the table. Anyway here's how the team looks for gw11:
Took a - 8 this week and brought in Jota, Romeau (sp?) and Mahrez. Felt I needed to strengthen the bench and team for the Christmas fixtures. Also didn't want to be without a Man City attacker any longer. Couldn't afford KDB though . Captain is back on Salah.

It's gw12 already so here is my team. The -8 last week didn't quite work. Clearly Son to Mahrez was one move too many. Driven a bit by panic I think. The other two moves I'm happy with though. No transfers this week!
Salah is captain again this week as its the most logical choice really. Little concerned about Jota but I'm happy with my bench cover.
Gw13 already! Happy with last week as strengthening the bench on gw11 did pay off with romeau netting me 7 points. Here's the lineup for this week:
In a way Jotas injury helped me as I could easily downgrade him to Soucek and use the extra cash to upgrade Mahrez to KDB who is captain. While Man City still don't look their best they have a really good fixture run. Now all I need to do is work out how to get Son back
Rapid Game weeks over Christmas continue with gw14. Here is the team, no need for a transfer I feel:
Gone with Kane for captain. Was gonna go with Salah but rumours were he was gonna be benched (and he has been).

Chillwell > Stones to free up some cash and is a cheap way into Man City defence. Not too worried about rotation as I can cover it with Cresswell/Taylor. The big transfer is KDB > Bruno. Thought long and hard about that given their relative fixtures...
.... But Bruno is out scoring KDB so far this season and Man City's attack is still blunt. Might've swapped trains at the wrong time but hopefully not. Gone for the obvs choice of Salah for Captain this week.
It's gogogo for another gameweek in fpl already! Not a lot has changed. Brought Son in for Grealish. Didn't really want to sell him but it wss the only way to get Son in without a hit. Keeping the capt on Salah as New have been awful of late.
First game week of 2021 has begun. Made one change this week as I am going to FH for gw18. Mitchell has gone for Holding. Son is the captain. Leeds open style looks like it will benefit him.
Why not get rid of Taylor? I don't know how long he will be out yet and he might still come in handy for the BGW and DGW. Plus BUR are playing Fulham, the game may get called off anyway. I was looking at Alioski but with the spurs game this week I wouldn't start him.

It's a free hit so there are loads of changes. Salah swap for KDB was obvious and given KDB is up against Brighton he's the captain. Also I'm surprised Gundog is only 5.4 mil and more people aren't raving about him!
My Cavani pick is a complete punt, but hey if you can't punt on a free hit when can you . Originally was going to stick with DCL but he went and pulled his hamstring

Terrible score last gameweek but not such a big drop in rank as I thought. Injured players out and Cancelo in to boost attack. Captain Mo feels a bit of a punt oddly but reasons below.

Considered getting rid of a premium this week for Grealish/Barnes but couldn't work out which one .
Salah - scored last week and in the FAcup so looks to be coming back into form as are LIV.
Bruno - has the best fixtures of the 3 coming up. Also playing away this week.

Son - seems likely to struggle with Kane out but stats from @BigManBakar showed he actually performs about the same historically. Plus he tends to blank a couple of weeks then pop up with a hat trick .
So with all that in mind the -4 doesn't seem worth it.
