#FollowBack Advice
If you expect a #FB, check your new friend’s account for recent tweets.
Have they been away for hours or even days? Get them next time!
Follow people who are active NOW! That way they’ll see that you’ve followed them right away and... follow back!

While you’re looking at this new friend’s feed, did they retweet something that someone else JUST tweeted?
Low hanging fruit, my bullshit bingo playing chum!
Pop over to this new someone’s feed and check them out too...
2-for-1... everyone wins!

This one may hurt. Your ratio may get to a point when twitter limits your fun: no follows or likes. Their ball; their rules!
You can do 2 things: use your skills to convince people to follow you; or delete accounts that haven’t followed you back (or followers, but hello?).
How?

You’re on your own with thing 1. There are apps for thing 2 but just look at your Following list.
The most recent are on top.
Find those who’ve forgotten you ever followed them!
scroll~scroll~scroll
Consider the need to follow that band from the 80s...
You can re-follow!

A caution about unfollowing... there’s a magic number of unfollows - that twitter won’t divulge - after which you go directly to twittmo. Do not pass go; no $200.
It is usually 3 days, during which time you can follow or like ONCE every 180 seconds.
Use this in the interim!

One last thing...
You know how annoying it is to be left hanging?
Sometimes you miss a notification, so don’t forget to scroll through your Followers! Do your due diligence but don’t leave them hanging.
Peace out and sauce me a follow!

People (other than me...) might not #FollowBack if:
• you have magats
• you have no tweets
• you have no picture

Also!
Don’t complain that you can’t follow back if YOU don’t do something about your own #Unfollow problem.
Someone WANTS to connect with you; someone else... DOESN’T!
There’s a fix. BUT some holes are quite deep and it will take you time to dig out - and avoid twittmo!

See the bell under Nancy? 2 Notifications!
Someone liked or retweeted a tweet I’m connected to. Maybe a #follow or #followback! Check these OFTEN.
When it’s a non-follow, check out the other people in the thread. You PROBABLY have like interests AND they’re online NOW.

When I did this thread I only used the twitter app.
I now use the free bits of “Who Unfollow” on iPhone but that’s your call...
It lets you see how long ago you followed someone before you cut them loose. Also shows if they’ve been suspended so you can cut them some slack!
