So, everybody is going to be watching Florida, Arizona, and North Carolina on election night, because they're expected to count quickly. But there is a chance we won't know the results in those states until Weds. or later.
So here are some other states I'll be watching.
So here are some other states I'll be watching.
South Carolina, where officials think they could have full results election night. Obviously, there's a high profile Senate race. But as far as the presidential race goes, it will be a good sign if Biden can hit 44% or higher, which would match his recent polls.
Montana also expects a quick count, and has a tight Senate race that would be a huge Democratic pickup. If Biden can really make it a 5-8 point Trump state, instead of 20-point one, like in 2016, it'll be a good sign.
New Hampshire: People forget that the vote here was insanely close in 2016. Clinton only won by 0.3%! Officials think they'll have results by night's end. If Biden has a comfortable win here, it'll be a good sign that he really has won back a lot of older, white independents.
Also, we might not have final results for Texas and Georgia on Tuesday night, but we could have a sense of whether they are super close.
And like everyone else, I'll be obsessing over Sumter County in Florida, regardless of when the rest of the state comes in.
